I am a native French speaker and a graduate of the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis located in France, where I earned a degree in English Language and Literature with a specialization in education. As a life-long learner, I continually seek professional development opportunities and I have also passed in England a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education as a specialist teacher of Modern Languages) I am a fully qualified French teacher. For several years, I have been teaching in many settings in France and elsewhere, which gave me the opportunity to develop a range of strategies to keep the students motivated and interested in learning. I have learnt many different ways to stimulate the students, staying away from the exclusive use of textbooks. During my first two years in Italy I also worked for a Language school, Istituto Linguistico Europeo. I had to adapt to different audiences, and different needs. I was teaching French to children but also adults, individually or as a group. I had to learn Italian as well.
Experience
Before moving to the UK in August 2011, I have worked full time in Italy at the International School of Modena as a teacher of four year olds. As an IB Teacher of PYP and MYP, I am an inspirational, passionate and adaptable educator, capable of teaching students in a stimulating, challenging and well-organized learning environment. I have also taught French (second and third language) for three years in the middle years section at the same school. I had to get familiar to the MYP, learning and teaching at the same time. I accepted the challenge, and I was rewarded since my eldest students passed their exam (the Italian Terza Media Examination). I'm currently teaching French at a school in Laguna Beach to 4th, 5th and 6th graders. I have been teaching there for 4 years.

Hobbies
I love sports such as swimming, running, and dancing. I have two young babies (twins). It's Luca and Eva, they are 13 months old. They are very sweet and keep me busy;-) I love going to the movie theater or eating good food. I love cooking as well. Finally, in every setting I worked in, I have been a cheerful and hard working member of staff. I have always had a good relationship with my students ensuring that all of them feel happy and confident in the classroom. All of the opportunities I had been offered have enhanced my teaching ability, but have also confirmed my passion for the profession. I love my job!
